Horse insurance can consist of various components, depending on the policy chosen. Essentially, horse insurance covers damage in the event of death or emergency slaughter of the horse due to an accident or illness. Depending on the policy, theft and permanent unsuitability for sport or breeding can also be covered.
You can also choose additional coverage, such as health insurance that (partially) covers surgeries, diagnostics, and medications. Other extensions include accident insurance and foal insurance. At Equipe, we offer flexible packages, allowing you to choose exactly what you need.
Please note: not everything is covered. Preventive care, such as vaccinations or dental care, is usually excluded. The same applies to existing conditions or problems that were not reported within the reporting period.
