Reimbursement of up to €1,150 for treatment of life-threatening open wounds and acute fractures, with a deductible of €185.
For pregnant mares, the unborn foal is co-insured up to 10% of the mare's insured value, with a maximum of €450.
Coverage for death due to castration of stallions up to and including the age of three, provided that it is carried out by a qualified veterinarian.
Costs for preventive treatments such as vaccinations, dental care and deworming are excluded from coverage.
Damage or death during transport outside the European Union is not covered.
Costs for euthanasia, destruction, or cremation are not covered as standard; additional insurance is required.
Insurance is available for horses and ponies up to and including 15 years of age.
For comprehensive health coverage, a supplementary Equipe 3 Health Insurance policy is available.
